YES - All the options available for any of our cake are just as delicious as our regular cakes with a distinct flavor profile associated with the choice of flour and sugar:
100% Whole Wheat: Less refined than Maida, this flour is widely used for making chapati in Indian household. Cakes prepared using this flour are a little caramelized and nutty in taste and slightly dense in texture.
100% Gluten Free: We have a secret blend of 4-5 all natural gluten free flours. Cakes prepared with this flour are a little coconutty in flavor and lack of gluten renders crumbly texture.
100% Natural: Eucalyptus honey, country sugar (authentic brown sugar) or jaggery is used to prepare all the elements of the cake. All these pure and natural substitutes of refined white sugar have a deep caramelized flavor.
How and where are Videsi Desserts made?
All the orders are baked and decorated fresh and to order at our kitchen in HSR Layout. We use only the very best ingredients available, including Amul butter, Indian Origin couverture chocolate, and all-natural fruits and spices.
We do not operate a production line or use industrial machinery; all our desserts are freshly baked each day in small batches. It takes longer but they taste so much better.
What does Baked-To-Order mean?
Baked-to-order means that we do not keep pre-prepared cakes at our kitchen. Our team prepares every element of your desserts within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery, after receiving an order.
Thus we need you to place your order by 4 PM today for next day delivery, unless you have checked with us first.
How long will my cake stay fresh for?
All our products are made without any artificial preservatives or harmful chemicals, thus we always recommend eating them on the same day to enjoy them at their best.
Depending on your needs you may want to get your cakes a day before you plan to serve them, and that's fine too - just store it in its box in the fridge.
When storing the cake in the fridge always allow it to come to room temperature before serving. In the (unlikely) event you find that you have cake leftovers, they'll stay fresh for two days in an airtight container.
We do not recommend freezing our cakes.
How do you name your cakes?
We follow two types of nomenclature for our cakes to make them very easy to understand.
1. Flavor Combination: Every cake's name includes the name of the top two flavors it is made of.
For eg: All the elements in a Fresh Strawberry and Hazelnut Cake are flavored with either strawberries or hazelnuts. Choose a flavor just by reading the names of the cake.
2. Inspired By: Cake flavors that are inspired by a popular dessert or confectionary, are named after them.
For eg: All the elements in a Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Cake are flavored with basic hazelnut and milk chocolate flavor in an actual Ferrero Rocher.
NOTE: We do not use any store bought desserts/chocolates and prepare them from scratch using the best of ingredients.
What are the different types of frostings you use in your cakes?
We use 6 different kinds of frostings/fillings in our cakes. All of them are perfectly balanced in terms of sweetness and often enhanced with nut butters, berry compotes, and fruit curds.
Dark Chocolate Ganache: Mix of 55% single origin dark couverture chocolate and fresh cream, this frosting is a favorite amongst all chocolate lovers
Buttercream: Combination of butter and sugar folded with chocolate ganache, house-made jams, nut butters, is our most dynamic frosting. Rich and flavorful, it is the best frosting for themed cakes
Cream Cheese Buttercream: House-made cream cheese whipped with buttercream to create this decadent frosting with a slight tang. Used in our most popular cake flavors like Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai Tres Leches
Cream Cheese White Chocolate Mousse: House-made cream cheese is whipped with Callebaut White Chocolate ganache to create this rich mousse with a slight tang. Used in our most sought after flavors like Red Velvet, Oreo Cookie Cream
White Chocolate Mousse: Callebaut White Chocolate Ganache is folded with fresh whipped cream to create this dreamy rich frosting. Loved by both kids and adults.
Fresh Whipped Cream: A very light and fluffy frosting made by whipping non-dairy heavy cream. Lightly flavored with nut butters, it is the perfect topping for fresh fruit cakes. When you do not know your audience that well, this is the frosting you should go for, as it is loved by the majority of people.
What is the difference between Kids and Adults cakes?
Both these categories have layered cakes and you should choose them based on your audience's palate.

How/Where do you deliver?
We have an extremely reliable, inhouse four wheeler delivery service that ensures every cake reaches its destination in perfect condition. Our drivers are trained to drive with minimum jerks and are instructed to keep the air conditioning on, at all times.
Scheduling deliveries during off-peak hours has also enabled us to deliver cakes in most parts of Bangalore. Refer our Delivery and Pickup policy here.
Please book your order before 4 PM today to receive next day delivery, unless you have checked with us first.
Can I collect my cakes from you?
Of course, pickup orders can be collected from our store in HSR Layout.
Monday-Sunday (11 AM - 7 PM)
When collecting cakes on your behalf, please make sure they provide your name and order number when they come to collect.
If arranging a third party pickup, we would advise to always book a van or car, rather than a motorbike. Once cakes have left our store, we CANNOT be held liable for any damage that occurs in transit. Any issues should be handled directly with the delivery company you have chosen to use.
Can I collect my desserts a day in advance?
Collecting your desserts the day before you need them is fine. Please ensure you transport them safely as we cannot accept responsibility for them, once they have been collected.
Store them within the box and refrigerate until the time of your celebration.
How far ahead should I order?
We recommend ordering Cakes a minimum of 2 days in advance and Cupcakes and Brownies 3 days in advance, but we do get very busy so it’s worth allowing more time if you can. This is especially true for very large orders and orders involving lots of bespoke decoration. For weddings and other large orders, it is advisable to give us as much notice as possible. Larger cakes, especially bespoke cakes, require more notice and we recommend giving at least two weeks’ notice or more if possible.
We will always try to accommodate last-minute orders whenever we can; if you have a dessert emergency and need an urgent order please call us on +91 84978 56624 and we'll do our very best to help.
What if I need to edit/cancel my order?
Our website has the order edit/cancel feature that allows you to edit/cancel your order within 30 minutes of placing the order. However, if you have missed the 30 min window, we suggest you to reach out to us as early as possible. We will always be as accommodating as we can but please bear in mind that we may have had to turn away other customers to fulfill your booking for a particular date so refunds/changes are not always possible.

Do you make sugar-free desserts?
Yes - we do have refined sugar-free versions for all of our cake flavors.
You can select 100% Natural under SUGAR filter and see all our products that have sugar-free variants. Every element of these desserts including caramels, pralines, jams etc., are made with 100% natural sweeteners like eucalyptus honey, country sugar (authentic brown sugar) or jaggery.
Why are sugar-free cakes costlier than normal cakes?
We have put in a lot of effort and time to perfect the recipes for sugar-free desserts.
Also, we completely replace refined sugar with 100% natural sugar like eucalyptus honey, country sugar (natural brown sugar) or jaggery in all our cake elements like cake sponge, caramel, buttercream, cookies.
To compensate for our team's efforts and the cost of natural sweeteners, the cost of the Sugar-Free cakes is high.
Do you make 100% gluten free desserts?
Yes - we do have 100% gluten free versions for most of our desserts.
You can select 100% Gluten Free under FLOUR option in product filters and see all the gluten free products available.
What flour do you use to make gluten-free desserts?
We use a secret blend of 3 naturally gluten-free flours.
We cannot disclose it any further as it is a trade secret. Hope you will understand.

What is a Taster Club?
Taster Club is a group of people in an apartment/ society, who are invited to do free sampling for all our new products. Members of this club become Official Tasters @ Videsi Desserts. These clubs help us get real feedback from real customers.
How do I get a Videsi Desserts' Taster Club started at my society?
To start a Taster Club at your society, fill our joining form here.
A society is considered for activation only when
Total # of Flats > 200 and
A minimum of 10 people should join
to activate a society and start sending product samples there.
What are the perks of becoming an official taster?

Can my child become an official taster?
If the child is old enough to give feedback or if a parent is ready to coordinate with us on his/her behalf, we will be happy to have your child as our Official Taster.
Will I get samples for every product in your menu?
No, we always have limited samples for each product and members are expected to order the samples for flavors of their choice using an ordering form.
Are the samples eggless?
Yes, most of the time our samples are eggless. However for some product categories eggless version is not possible, then we send samples with egg.

How do I give feedback for samples I receive?
Feedback form link is updated everyday.
Our team will share the updated link for the feedback form within the WhatsApp group.
You are expected to fill it for every sample that you have tasted.
Is there a sign up/ joining fee for Taster Club?
No, this is completely free.
The only thing we ask in return is your feedback for every sample you receive.
